A Visionary Beginning
Born and raised in Malta, Miriam’s passion for beauty blossomed at a young age. From childhood, she experimented with skincare using the fruits of Malta, instilling in her a lifelong appreciation for organic, locally-sourced ingredients.
Miriam embarked on a multifaceted career journey that would shape her into the visionary entrepreneur she is today, and give rise to Baroque & Rose- where beauty meets integrity, and luxury intertwines with sustainability.
Her journey in the beauty industry began with her role as an aesthetician, a make-up artist and an owner of five prestigious spas in Malta. It was during this time that Miriam honed her reputation for excellence in the field.
Miriam’s talent soon caught the attention of Maltese celebrities, who sought her expertise for occasions including television appearances and prestigious events such as the Eurovision.
But Miriam’s vision extended beyond her successful career.

Through her career, Miriam learned that most cosmetic products relied on harsh chemicals, and this sparked her realization of nature’s untapped power, inspiring her to create a brand that embodied purity, authenticity, and sustainability.
She knew that harnessing the potency of natural ingredients could revolutionize the industry. And so Miriam embarked on a mission to redefine beauty standards.
Baroque & Rose was founded on the principles of purity, transparency, and sustainability, sourcing premium ingredients directly from the Mediterranean’s fertile lands.
Every product is meticulously crafted in our artisanal factory, where nature’s bounty is honored, and traditional craftsmanship thrives.
