Our journey begins in the vibrant Mediterranean, where our founder, Miriam Ciantar, drew inspiration from the region’s rich & natural heritage.

A Visionary Beginning

Born in Malta, Miriam’s passion for beauty blossomed at a young age. From childhood, she experimented with skincare using the fruits of Malta, instilling in her a lifelong appreciation for organic, locally-sourced ingredients.

  • Miriam embarked on a multifaceted career journey that would shape her into the visionary entrepreneur she is today, and give rise to Baroque & Rose- where beauty meets integrity, and luxury intertwines with sustainability.

    Her journey in the beauty industry began with her role as an aesthetician, a make-up artist and an owner of five prestigious spas in Malta.

  • It was during this time that Miriam honed her reputation for excellence in the field.

    Miriam’s talent soon caught the attention of Maltese celebrities, who sought her expertise for occasions including television appearances and prestigious events such as the Eurovision.

    But Miriam’s vision extended beyond her successful career.

Through her career, Miriam learned that most cosmetic products relied on harsh chemicals & this sparked her realisation of nature’s untapped power, inspiring her to create a brand that embodied purity, authenticity & sustainability.

  • Miriam knew that harnessing the potency of natural ingredients could revolutionise the industry. And so Miriam embarked on a mission to redefine beauty standards.

    Baroque & Rose was founded on the principles of purity, transparency & sustainability. We source our premium ingredients directly from the fertile lands of the Mediterranean.

  • Every product is meticulously crafted in one of our artisan factories in Italy or Malta, where nature’s bounty is honoured & traditional craftsmanship thrives. From the selection of ingredients to the final packaging, sustainability is at the forefront of our process, ensuring that each step reflects our commitment to the environment.
